I was welcomed with an underground train which was no different than a 5-star hotel suite when I landed Copenhagen for a 3-day conference. It was cold, although it was June; and I had left an England which was boiling behind me.
Underground system is excellent, everyone can speak English fluently, however there were no signs in English anywhere. It made our lives hard especially when we were looking for the National Museum of Denmark, because some street names were skipped in the maps.
Denmark is a total madness considering the prices. You pay hundreds of krone to a bottle of drink, which is actually a few pounds or Turkish Liras.
Kopenhag Kent Merkezi binasında konferans katılımcılarına bir hoşgeldin resepsiyonu yapıldı. Tarihi binaları görmek çok güzeldi.
There was a Welcome Reception for the conference participants in Copenhagen Town Hall. It was nice to see all those historical buildings around.

Flaman keki.
Danish pancakes. With apple and cinnamon. Lovely. There were so much of these desserts that I can say these 3 days were the days in which I had the most unhealthy nutrition in my life.

We not only watched the gifts in the shops, but also took pictures of them! The cheapest and most logical gifts for your budget are the postcards. Interestingly, the fridge magnets were available for cheap in the hotel reception.

Nyhavn is a total beauty. The most interesting tourist attraction. Try to find a place in the cafes or restaurants here, and you are lucky if you are with friends. Share the food that comes with big portions, so you will not ripped out of money. You can walk towards the end of the canal till the sea, there are some canal tours too.

Nyhavn'da saklı bir bahçe. Böyle keşfedilmemiş yerleri ancak tabana kuvvet gezerseniz görebilirsiniz.
A secret garden in Nyhavn. You can discover such hidden gems only by walking around.

We were lucky, the sunset gave us a nice view with purple clouds.

Sokaktaki canlı heykel sanatçıları. Aniden hareket edip ödünüzü patlatmakta ustalar.
The living statues in the streets, experts to scare you suddenly with movements.

En sevdiğim cadde fotoğraflarımdan biri. H.C.
One of my favorite photos. H.C. Andersen Boulevard. A quiet place to walk and enjoy.

Ulusal Müze'nin iç avlusu. Çok sakin, ilham verici.
The backyard of National Museum. Very quiet, inspiring.

Son olarak sokak müzisyenleriyle bu geziyi noktalıyoruz. Telefonum bu sanatçıların çaldığı muhteşem parçaların videolarıyla doldu taştı.
Finally, we came to an end to this trip with the lovely music of the street musicians. My cell phone is filled up with these videos.
